About Me
I have been a sales person, a sales manager and a sales trainer over the last 16 years. I love the sales industry and see being a sales trainer as my calling in life. So far it has been a fantastic career to be involved in and has provided opportunities which I may have never had in other industries. I am very grateful for these opportunities, now is the time to give back.
The reason that I started Make Sales Today was to help businesses find their potential. More importantly help pass on my knowledge of sales to businesses as a sales trainer. Additionally, there are a lot of businesses out there which are struggling in the current climate, and their sales people are feeling underwhelmed. I want to help these businesses and sales people to grow in the ever changing environment and realise their potential.
As a Sales Trainer
My style as a sales trainer is as a strength based coach. This style helps sales people realise their strengths so they can use them to their most effective. I look for growth and opportunity in every situation using a sales led approach.
As a Sales Manager
As a sales manager I was a pacesetter due to my high performing nature and as a result I built teams of high performers as I knew how to create high performers as well as work with them. I supported numerous sales people over the years, and I can tell you that the majority can become top performers.
Through creating and cultivating a positive environment using rapport building and individual training it gave my teams the belief that they can achieve and exceed targets. I am a big fan of my teams creating their own targets and goals, this provides involvement and the challenge sales person thrive on.
I have had the pleasure to be involved and mentor a number of different high performing sales people. They have all gone on to various great opportunities and it’s great to see how they have grown.
There are a number of different courses such as leadership courses, coaching and interviewing skills. As a sales trainer my coaching never stops and I encourage a lot of methods new and old. I particularly like NLP as it is a great rapport building skill. As well as this I use cutting edge tools like success modelling, stress testing, skill weighting, stretch targeting and motivation tracking.
